Popping the Question: Will you be my Bridesmaid?
Hey, nice rock! Now it's your turn to pop the question! Whether you're having 2 or 12 ladies to support you on your big day, it can seem kind of overwhelming when you are the person deciding what they are going to look like from head-to-toe. Not to mention this new trend of asking them to actually BE your bridesmaid with gifts that are instagram worthy! Here's my tips on perfecting the "pop".
Ok Ladies, Now let's get in Formation
A little creativity and personalization goes a long way and no one knows your girls like you do, so this should be easy! But incase you need some help getting started...
Unique and Useful. Like an iPhone charging cord (like this one) that reads "back me up" on the package, which couldn't be more perfect. For a destination wedding, try monogrammed luggage tags (like this one from Coach) or passport cases (like this one from Kate Spade) which are a great way to create excitement about traveling for your big day and is something they'll have for years to come.
Pampered and Pretty. Get them excited by pampering them with a body spray, nail polish or face mask. I included Olivine's Salt Water Hair + Body spray because I knew they'd be traveling over the Atlantic Ocean, and that's a lot of salt water! Brands like OPI and Essie have so many appropriately named polishes that are perfect for the occasion. If you're stumped, Sephora is great place to find pamper worthy products for all budgets, like face masks for only $6.
Something Sweet. Sweeten the deal with some instant gratification like these Sugarfina Champagne Gummy Bears
A Cute Card. Last but not least, the card. Be sure to write a heart-felt note inside that is specific to each girl! This is where you can remind her of all those inside jokes, childhood memories, and how important it is to have her by your side on your big day.
Now that you have all the ingredients for the perfect "will you be my bridesmaid?", put them in a gift box or bag and prepare to laugh, cry, and say "I do"!
